As my first post announced: Welcome, hapless browsers! You seem to (mistakenly, I’m sure) want to know more about me, or possibly about my blog. A key point is that I generally dislike writing about myself, but love writing about photography. If you would like to read about me, cyclopses, and various ruminations, I can direct you to my introductory post. For those of you who are too lazy to click through, I offer the following summary: I’m a young photographer who happens to be blind in her left eye, and my unique (read: flat and limited) perspective informs my work in a variety of ways. Science has fascinating things to say about this matter, which you can also read about in the linked post.
My blog, on the other hand, will hopefully be much more interesting than me blathering on about myself. I plan to post simple photo essays, tutorials, photo essays with massive amounts of research (Haven’t you heard about Centralia? You will soon.), previews, how-to guides, how-not-to guides, and whatever else strikes my fancy. Additionally, my informal portfolio is available in the links beneath the header.
I’ll do my best to respond to any comments, critiques, questions, etc. that you send my way.
